Photoshop Exposé: Selena Gomez Gets the Giraffe Treatment in Elle
Selena Gomez is latest victim of the silent but deadly syndrome known as Giraffe Neck. The disease is known in Photoshop circles as “Cover Ready.” Any model/actress/singer without at least a 12-inch neck will be giraffed and yet according to the headline, she will stay “Forever Young.” I guess Giraffe Neck isn’t fatal after all.
Apparently Selena also had some organs and ribs removed to make this fabulous Gucci belt fit. I can hear the editor now: “This is the last time we use someone as positively ancient as 19 on the cover. Sheesh kabob, so much retouching on this girl!”
Of course, all of this was in addition to slimming her face and elongating her 5’5″ frame. Hello Barbie!
